We also like that NordPass can be bundled with other security features like NordVPN and NordLocker for additional storage and online anonymity. Even if you don’t want to purchase NordLocker, you can still attach up to 3GB of files to an existing item in your NordPass storage.

One major difference between Keeper and NordPass is that Keeper has more customization options than its competitors. It’s not a deal breaker, but the ability to customize your password manager leaves you with less wasted space and items you may not use.

1Password is very user-friendly. Keeper tends to have a security-minded look, while 1Password is more approachable and visually aesthetic. Since there’s so much information you can store in 1Password, it’s nice to have it organized into a clean, easy-to-find library of data and documents.

You’ll also get extra features like Travel Mode and Watchtower. Travel Mode removes your vaults from your device when you’re traveling to protect against stolen device hacking. Watchtower provides dark web monitoring, which checks for leaked data online and gives you tips on how to secure your information.

With how user-friendly 1Password is, we can’t say the same about its pricing structure. There’s no free version, but you can test it for 14 days. After that, you’ll have to purchase for a year, and there’s no refund option if you don’t like it. Better make that free 2-week trial count.

Keeper’s free plan allows you to use it on one device and store up to 10 passwords before urging you to upgrade to its full plan. Bitwarden’s free plan, on the other hand, includes unlimited devices and passwords as well as all its core functions. If you aren’t looking for much beyond password management and storage, Bitwarden is the most budget-friendly choice.

Like Keeper, Bitwarden also has excellent security and is recommended by industry experts. In addition to its security and unlimited access, you also get features like password sharing, a random password generator, data breach reports, and more as part of the free core functions of Bitwarden. Since it also includes broad compatibility, you can use this software on most, if not all, of your devices. As a unique bonus, Bitwarden Send allows you to send fully encrypted files and texts to anyone, though free users can only access the latter.

You can’t just randomly share a password stored in your Bitwarden vault. You’ll need to create an “organization” first to share it. It’s a weird extra step, and we’re not sure why it’s necessary. While this isn’t a deal breaker, it was still something we found tiresome.
NordPass is very similar to Keeper, both in terms of security and features. NordPass uses xChaCha20 encryption, which may prove superior to Keeper’s AES-256-bit encryption down the road, as the latter is already showing chances of being breakable in the future.
No, BreachWatch isn’t included with your Keeper subscription. You’ll have to purchase it as a premium add-on.
Yes, Keeper is a good password manager, but it has limitations. It’s secure, offers plenty of features with its paid subscription, and can be installed on a variety of devices. However, it limits its free version and asks you to pay for premium features like BreachWatch, which you may not find with competitors.
Keeper’s monthly cost ranges from Free-$3.12/mo depending on your chosen plan. People looking for a free password manager may want to check out Bitwarden instead, as it doesn’t limit the devices and number of passwords you can access with its free plan.
Keeper and LastPass have many similar features, like a password generator, as well as similar restrictions, like only one device allowed on the free plans. Both are better options than Google’s password manager, but Keeper hasn’t experienced a data breach, while LastPass has experienced several.
NordPass is the best security alternative to Keeper, but 1Password stores more types of information, and Bitwarden offers more for free.
