One of the issues we noticed with Privacy Bee is there is no clear form of encryption. When looking for the security measures used, Privacy Bee seems rather vague. The documentation mentions safety being a priority and that it forces SSL across the site to increase security, but it doesn’t mention the specific encryption used for the databases. It does make it known that your information is never sold. Still, not knowing what type of encryption Privacy Bee uses made us concerned about a potential data breach.
Plus, Privacy Bee doesn’t offer an additional security layer with two-factor or multifactor authentication, whereas DeleteMe offers strong encryption and 2FA.
